Account Executive - Public Affairs - London - Competitive
Westminster Search is recruiting on behalf of a respected UK public affairs consultancy with a long reputation for energy sector expertise. We advise energy businesses of every size, from innovative start-ups to FTSE 100 companies.
Our client’s team reflects the breadth of the sector, with experience in exploration and refining, generation, transmission, distribution, supply and decommissioning. Its global network of partners gives it an international view of energy policy. The consultancy operates from offices in London, Brussels, Edinburgh, Cardiff and Belfast. Its modern London office is within walking distance of the Houses of Parliament, and it is registered on the UK’s Statutory Register of Consultant Lobbyists.
The role
Typical duties include:
Political and media monitoring Stakeholder mapping Policy research Stakeholder engagement programme delivery Stakeholder messaging development Select committee training support
What you need
Strong academics Experience in one or more of the following: Researcher to a UK MP, MSP, MS or MLA Researcher to a UK political party A public affairs or public relations agency An in-house public affairs or public relations role Excellent verbal and written skills
Location
You will work a minimum of two days per week in our client’s London office.
